Custom pieces are some of our favorite projects — they let you bring your ideas to life and let us do what we do best: make cool handmade shit with personality. Before you submit your request, here’s how the process works and what to expect.
Hand Carved Signs - Wall of Snark

Ground Rules
1. Keep It Classy… or at Least Legal
I won’t create anything involving hate speech, harassment, discrimination, or anything that could get either of us in trouble. Snarky? Absolutely. Illegal? Hard pass
2. No Copyrighted or Trademarked Stuff.
I can’t recreate logos, characters, brand names, or anything owned by someone else. Your idea needs to be original, personal, or generic enough to be safe.
3. Inspiration Is Welcome Copying Is Not
Send me examples of the vibe you like. But if you send someone else’s
exact design and say “make this,” the answer is no
6. Be Specific in the Custom Form
The more details you give me, the better your custom piece will turn out. If you leave things blank, I’ll make creative decisions for you.
7. Payment Is Required Before I Start
Custom work takes time, materials, and brainpower. I begin once payment is received
8. No Refunds on Custom Orders
If I made what you approved, we’re good. Changing your mind after I start doesn’t qualify for a refund
9. Turnaround Time Varies
Tie‑dye needs time to process. Wood needs time to engrave, sand, and finish. I’ll give you an estimated timeline, but handmade work isn’t Amazon Prime
4. Tie‑Dye Does What Tie‑Dye Wants
I can match a general color palette or pattern style, but every piece is one‑of‑a‑kind. That’s the beauty of handmade.
10. Communication Matters
I’ll reach out if I need clarification. You’ll get a mockup or description before anything major is finalized
For The "I don't read" crowd"
5. Wood Signs Are Naturally Unique
Grain, knots, texture, and color will vary. If you need machine‑perfect, Amazon is right over there.
1. Don’t ask me to break the law. 2. Don’t ask me to copy someone else’s art. 3. Don’t expect tie‑dye to behave. 4. Don’t ghost me after I send a mockup. 5. Don’t expect refunds on custom work. 6. Do tell me exactly what you want. 7. Do trust me to make it badass. 8. Do remember: handmade means unique.
How The Process Works
Simple, smooth, and designed to keep us both sane
STEP 1 — Fill Out the Custom Request Form
Tell me what you want: colors, text, vibe, size, style, attitude. The more detail, the better.
STEP 2 — I Review Your Request
I’ll look it over and reach out if I need clarification or if something isn’t possible.
STEP 3 — Quote & Timeline
You’ll get a price and an estimated turnaround time.
Once you approve, we move forward.
STEP 4 — Payment
Payment is required before I start creating your piece.
STEP 5 — Mockup or Description (If Needed)
For signs or detailed designs, I’ll send a mockup or written description for approval.
STEP 6 — I Make Your Custom Piece
This is where the magic happens — dyeing, engraving, sanding, finishing, all the good stuff.
STEP 7 — Pickup or Shipping
Once it’s ready, I’ll let you know. You can pick it up locally or have it shipped.
